Julie and I want to send a word of encouragement to you this month!
God promises us a different world within this world. We are in this world but not of this world. We are pilgrims or sojourners just passing through on our way to heaven. However, we can have days of heaven upon the earth. Our God and Father is still the way maker and He still makes a way when there is no way. We cross red seas and Jordan rivers. We go through the valley of the shadow of death. We do not camp and build our life there. We fear no evil. With Jesus, there is no mountain that we cannot climb and there is no valley too low, nor desert too dry and hot, that we cannot endure passing to the other side. There is no storm that the name of Jesus cannot calm.
We live in a divine bubble if you will. I have walked with Jesus 30 years now and I can tell you from my own life and testimony, that it is a recession proof bubble. A danger and accident proof bubble. A sickness proof zone and an embassy of peace in the middle of fear. He, Jesus Christ, is still our refuge, our rock, and our fountain of blessing. The name of the Lord is still a high tower and you’re still invited to run into it and be safe. Jesus is still the glory and the lifter of our head. Further, you are still a tree planted by the rivers of living water. Please hear the Lord’s promises to you in Psalms 103:1-5 (AMP): “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]”!
This scripture covers plagues and pandemics, famine and food shortages, inflation, wars and terror, as well as political and civil unrest. No matter what, I am convinced that the Lord shall protect and provide for his sons and daughters. Let us be ones who believe and trust in Him with all of their hearts and lean not on upon their own understanding. If you have fear in your mind but you still have faith in your heart, then you’re a normal Christian. The Bible says that we receive from God when we don’t doubt in our heart. I’ll guarantee you’re only doubting him in your mind, and not in your heart, therefore you’re still in faith. Fear in the mind is torment but then again we get to choose what we put our mind upon. So even that can change. Be encouraged!
Praise God, we fed a whole lot more people in Asia this past month. You can see here, Joel our incredible young Evangelist, and his team distributing the food that you gave. One of the days as he was distributing food, someone invited he and the recipients into their home where he shared the gospel with them. 20 Buddhists were born again that day. Your generous giving filled hungry stomachs with rice and hungry hearts with Jesus!
Thank you for your love and generosity. Though you have given only to give, please watch and see how God blesses it. It will be your hedge against inflation, recession, and anything else that might come. Julie and I pray for you, that you will always be blessed and that you will always be a blessing. You are a tremendous blessing to us and those we are serving here in the U.S. , Colombia, and Asia. Thank you so much for your love and support.
