Dear Friends & Family,
Wow! I am really excited to write you this morning. Julie
and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was the best ever. We had such a
fun time with all our kids, grandkids, and extended family on both sides.
I am pumped about the mission to Manipur India this month.I head out on December 3rd and will return on the 22nd. Please keepme in your prayers. We will hold revival meetings in three cities. The mainevent is in Tamenglong village. We will gather 29 entire congregationsfrom the whole state into a small stadium. They are very hungry forrevival and for more from Holy Spirit. It is quite a mountainous and remote area. There may be a chancewe can go in by a helicopter service and save a day of driving. That will be ablessing after 28 hours of flying to get to our last airport.
In 2001, I was at an evangelism conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma listening to some of the great evangelists of our day like: T.L. Osborn, Reinhard Bonnke, and Mike Francene. During a prayer time, the Lord showed me a brief vision about going to India and ministering in a stadium environment. At the time it seemed impossible and I thought it was probably just my imagination and basically wrote it off as such. It was not until seventeen years later, and just before the trip to India this past February that HolySpirit brought it back to memory. Even then I questioned this since those meetings were in a church setting. I had no idea that through contacts made there that these doors would open. I am not exactly sure where the Lord is headed with all this. It is both exciting and challenging at the same time. Pastor Shan and I will travel and minister there together. Please agree with us in prayer for safe traveling and for me to have favor with officials along the way. Also for health, strength, and protection against any mosquito born illnesses that can be prevalent in some of the areas we are traveling.
In other news, we will be providing funds to the Soy de Aqui Children’s Christmas vacation program in Barrio Alto Bonitobeginning December 3rd. This is our third year to do so. This Decemberprogram will be a major blessing to more than one hundred at risk kids whowould otherwise have nothing during the holiday season. In addition to our normal monthly operating expenses, please agreein faith with us for extra finances needed this month for this specialmission to India and our year-end Children’s program with Soy de Aqui inColombia.
