Taste And See

Hello Friends!

Have you ever eaten something so delicious that you just couldn’t wait to share it with somebody else? Well, I believe the Word and it says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” So, I’ve been tasting Him and I’m here to tell you, He is even better than my homemade chocolate cake. In truth, He is so so good. Our time in Villavicencio was full of His goodness.

We were honored to see 300 plus lives receive His salvation during our time out on the streets evangelizing, in churches, and in the crusade. Our team ministered in four different churches in Villavicencio that partnered with us. One night, over 75% of those attending the service responded to and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The activation training went well also. Over 37 students attended as well as several local pastors along with their leadership teams. Many hungry believers came to be activated too. It was a rich time for all. Charley was invited by one of the pastors to be on his TV program that aired for 1 hour throughout the region. Many people called in for prayer as well as responded on social media.

All of the above things that I’ve mentioned are beyond amazing, but do you know what?  The things that God did in me, and in each member of our team, are what blow me away. Our first and oldest grandson went with us as a part of our team. There are no words to adequately express how my heart felt seeing him preach the Word with such passion. He is pictured above.

All of our team members shared that something so very special had happened in them during our time in Villavicencio. One of the coolest things (to me) that we got to do while we were there, is that we partnered with a local pastor and went out on the streets one night to a very poor and dangerous area of the city. We handed out 100 fresh hot meals to the homeless and prayed for those who wanted prayer. A young 30 year old man came up to me hungry. I got to share food with him, talk with him, and even pray with him to receive Jesus. He was younger than my youngest son. As a mom, I can’t tell you how I just wanted to feed him, hug him, love on him, and encourage him. The Lord and I got to do all of those things with him and more. I left there that night crying. It broke my heart and blessed my heart all at the same time. The Lord is good. He tastes good, especially to those who are hungry. I am hungry.

Thank you for partnering with us to go and feed those who are hungry. To give them a taste of Him Who is all Goodness.

It Is Our Joy,

Charley & Julie
