Merry Christmas From Soul Harvest Missions

Dear Friends & Family,

In Psalm 68:1 David prayed and declared, “Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered”. I set my heart to pray extra this past month and I sense and see God doing just that. One morning in my office in Colombia, while praying I heard Him say, “Go to Mexico. I am going to pour My Spirit out”. I asked where? The immediate response to my thought was Montemorelos, Mexico.

I called Pastor Ernesto there and he said to please come. Five days later I arrived and the Lord did pour His Holy Spirit out. For seven nights we had days of Heaven upon the earth. Great joy broke out and we were all filled fresh and new with Holy Spirit. I believe I needed the outpouring more than anyone else. Acts 3:19 promises, “So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord” (Amp Translation). People were healed and delivered just sitting in the presence of God. The church was packed every night with spiritually hungry people. New people came and were saved and many rededicated their hearts to Jesus and re-consecrated themselves to the call of God on their life. All praise to Jesus!

I sense in my spirit that God wants to do something fresh in His people all over the globe. I am hungry for that, how about you? I know I need it. A scripture that has marked my life for many years is John 3:8,”The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” I love when Holy Spirit blows like a wind. Oh, for my heart to be His sail, to blow me where God wants, to do what God wants.

In Colombia things are going really well. We have submitted an offer to rent a building for the new church we have planted and are waiting to hear back. We will let you know when we get it. This month we again have our special Christmas vacation program with the Soy De Aqui children’s foundation. The cost will be right at $2,850.00. We are in need of help to bless the kids with four weeks of fun, special training, the Gospel, and a Christmas party. (See details below.)

We will have a busy Gospel crusade schedule in 2018. We will continue to help Agustin grow Iglesia Puerto de Cielo (the new church). We are planning exciting changes for Launch Pad School of Ministry. Any special or extra year-end gifts are of course needed and a super blessing for all ministry in the new year.

May Christmas be extra special for you this year. Julie and I pray that you also experience a fresh wind and a fresh touch from Holy Spirit. We declare safety, health, and blessing over you during this special season. Thank you for loving us so well and partnering with our mission work through your prayers and financial support.

Merry Christmas!

Charley & Julie
