Preparing A City To Receive Jesus

Pre-crusade Preparation

Dear Friends and Family,

Julie and I send you a big hug from Colombia. In less than two days we begin our citywide gospel crusade in La Union. We have saturated this town of 30,000 inhabitants with posters, street banners, radio, and television commercials. We have trained up a ministry team of 120 people from 3 churches as well as the students from our Launch Pad school of ministry.

Last weekend we were on the streets with a team of eighty handing out printed invitations and praying for the sick. Local believers have been praying around the clock the past two weeks for the salvation of their neighbors and fellow citizens. For the next five days a sound car will be driving around the city and surrounding villages announcing the meeting. We will be sending some buses to these poor villages to bring the spiritually hungry and sick people to the campaign. It has been a busy and intense month of training and preparation. It is so worth it for precious lost souls to be saved and sick and hurting bodies to be healed. I was told by a farmer that harvest time is the most labor intensive and expensive time of the season. Thank you for all that you have invested in Soul Harvest and in Julie and I to help us bring this harvest in. Really we thank you!

In spending time with the Lord yesterday morning, I said, “Jesus thank you for being my Savior”. I heard Him reply so clearly,“ It was my joy to give my life for you Charley”. I know it was His joy to give His life for you too and for every single person in La Union. Oh how I want Him to receive the fullness of that joy. In my heart’s imagination, I can see the smiles on the face of Jesus as each person calls upon His name and receives what He did for them on the cross. Thank you because together we are doing this for our amazing Savior. Julie and I look forward to sharing exciting testimonies with you. Thank you for being so generous to help us. We believe April will be a great month.

With a whole bunch of love and extreme gratitude,

Charley & Julie
